Shipping Information

  • A carrier, not UPS, will call you to arrange delivery for this (specific) merchandise. Your shipping and handling to a residence is to the first dry area (through the threshold or garage) of your home. Lift gate, stair carries, inside placement and debris removal cost additional fees and may be added to your order total upon request. At time of order please let us know which shipping method that you would prefer. If you order online, in the notes area of the check out page, please notate what you would prefer and we will let you know the additional charges.

  • When an item is damaged during shipping, the repair will not be done until a claim has been filed and settled with the shipping company.

  • All special orders from Catnapper ship in approximately 6-8 weeks. Leather is in high demand and is not always available within 6 weeks from Catnapper.

  • Your furniture will be delivered by Con-Way or Home Direct. We ship by two carriers - Home Direct and Con-way. Con-way arrives with an LTL truck and will perform services according to your area terminal policies. (Smaller trucks may be available depending on the area you live.) If you pickup the furniture from your local terminal or a business then your price, would most likely be even lower than listed on the site (even for the recliners with FREE shipping). Here is an example:

  • If you got TWO of the 6498's and had it delivered to a business or picked it up at the Con-way terminal in Jessup, MD, your price would be $902.50. You save about $148 dollars off of the regular price listed online. http://www.relaxandrecline.com/cgi-bin/shop/6498.html

  • The residential delivery by Con-way would be $1050. This would be a Con-way delivery with the residential fee (no lift gate).

  • Con-Way: Normal transit and delivery time is 3-5 business days. One man delivery and you may or may not have to assist the driver with unloading the item. Generally this is a up to the threshold service. What this means is that they will bring it to your front door. You can ask for inside delivery and they will assist you in bringing the item(s) into your home.

  • Home Direct: Normal transit and delivery time range from 5-10 business days. Two man delivery team that you can choose which delivery services you would like.
  • Bronze Threshold: Two man delivery, up to two flights of stairs inside the first dry threshold of your home. (restrictions: total delivery weight cannot exceed 400 lbs)

  • Silver: Two man delivery, up to two flights of stairs, inside placement into your home.

  • Gold: Two man delivery, up to two flights of stairs, inside placement into your home, unpacking, debris removal and light assembly up to 15 minutes, no tools.

  • Platinum: Two man delivery, up to two flights of stairs, inside placement into your home, unpacking, debris removal, and light assembly up to 30 minutes.

  • Arrival of your items means that you need to follow a few guidelines. Once the item(s) arrive before signing any delivery forms please inspect your items carefully. No damage is too small.
  • IF there is any damage, and no damage is too small, please notate it on the delivery form and inform the driver and then sign. After the delivery team leaves please contact us immediately! Notating damage or defects is your responsibility at time of delivery. We cannot file a claim for damage unless it was noted at the time of delivery on the the delivery receipt. If damage is noted, please retain the original packaging and call us immediately at 1-866-519-6970. The sooner we file the claim the faster we can have your item(s) repaired.
  • If there is damage to the item(s) and you have followed the above steps we will then contact a repairman that is local to you and have the items inspected. If any parts are needed we will order the parts from the factory and have them shipped out to you. Once the parts arrive the repair specialist will return and repair the item(s).
  • We normally do not have any shipping damage. But it can happen. We like to make sure that our customers are prepared just in case. We will work our hardest to get the issue resolved as fast as possible.
